The short version: we read what's publicly on your website to write your posts, we store your account and connection data encrypted, we never sell your data, and we never publish anything without your approval.
We collect the information you give us directly: your name, email address, billing details, and the website URL you ask us to read. When you connect a social account, the platform shares an access token and basic profile information with us. We also collect standard usage data (pages visited, features used) to improve the product.
We use your website's public content to learn your brand, voice, and offering so we can draft posts in your name. We use your account data to operate the service, process payments, and send transactional email. We do not use your content to train models shared with other customers, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
Connections to Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, TikTok, and Pinterest use each platform's official API and OAuth flow. We store tokens encrypted at rest and use them only to schedule and publish the posts you approve. Disconnecting a platform revokes our access immediately.
We share data only with service providers who help us run EloPost (hosting, payments, email), each bound by contract to use it solely on our behalf; with platforms you've connected, to publish approved posts; and where the law requires it.
We keep your data while your account is active. Delete your account and we delete your content, drafts, and connections within 30 days, keeping only what billing and tax law obliges us to retain.
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email privacy@elopost.comand we'll act on your request within 30 days.
